Publisher Description
Welcome to the Tipsi wine community. We have built a wine app for everyone, from the connoisseur to the novice. Utilize Tipsi at retail stores, restaurants, events, and anywhere wine is available to improve your knowledge and understanding of the products in front of you.
Like many wine apps we offer label recognition and product comparison options. Unlike any others apps however, that is just a small part of the Tipsi experience. Search any product by name to pull up detailed product, location, and pricing data on demand.
At a Tipsi enabled wine store? We know EVERY product in the store (including beers and spirits) and WHERE it is. Want to buy something? We offer frictionless payment options and simple checkout. Know what you want but its not available? Pick a wine and we'll show the most similar products available in the store. Want to know the great deals? Tipsi compares every product to the best available online price to show you the DEALS.
At a restaurant? Want to know what wines off the list in front of you pair best with veal or salmon? Tipsi provides an interactive dining experience that makes you the expert by allowing users to sort and filter wine lists and explore wines like never before. Tipsi gives you intelligent filters like filtering and ranking by professional rating, consumer rating, relative vintage quality, markup versus retail, markup versus nearby (restaurants) and of course price and color.
Tipsi (pre-populated) cities include New York City, Washington, D.C, San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Napa / Sonoma Valley's and the Hamptons (seasonally). Not in one of those areas? Request a restaurant be added (or updated) anywhere in the US in one click and in 48 - 72 hours the Tipsi team will do its best to add it to our system.
Be social. Now if you link your social networks to Tipsi you can see all your friends already on the platform. If your friends are unsocial just search for them by name to follow them, but make sure they follow you back!
Tipsi has tons of other features like expert reviews, social sharing, wine events, and more so check it out!
